Welcome to Top Christian Fiction. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About This Site

Top Christian Fiction publishes spoiler-free reviews, comparisons, reading guides and book club notes on Christian mystery, suspense and historical novels, written from the reading chair of a retired church and school librarian. We cover what a book is like to read, who it suits and who it may not, and we never give away a culprit, a twist or an ending.

Content Notes for Readers

Christian fiction is not the same thing as gentle fiction. Mystery and suspense novels in this genre can deal with murder, missing children and teenagers, grief, the loss of a spouse or child, addiction, and violence, even when the language and scenes stay clean. Our notes describe how a book read to us. They are one reader's opinion, not a content rating, so please read the publisher's description and a sample before handing a book to a young reader or to someone who is grieving.

The novels we cover are works of fiction. Nothing on this site is pastoral, medical, legal or mental health advice, and no novel is a substitute for your pastor, your doctor or a qualified counselor. If a story stirs up something painful, please set it down and talk with someone you trust.

Book details such as page counts, editions, series order and availability come from retailer listings and can change. Check the current listing before you buy.
